VeraBank Welcomes Billy Brannon as Senior Vice President & Commercial Banker in Conroe

Conroe, TX - VeraBank is excited to announce the addition of Billy Brannon as Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker at its Conroe location. A native of Conroe, Billy was born and raised in the community and is excited to return home to support the area where his roots began. Billy has been with VeraBank since April 2025, most recently serving customers in College Station.

With extensive experience across multiple sectors of commercial banking – including homebuilder finance, land acquisition, development lending, and SBA lending – Billy brings valuable expertise to help customers achieve their financial and growth objectives.

A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Billy earned a degree in Finance and Banking/Financial Institutions, followed by an MBA specializing in Banking and Financial Institutions. Throughout his career, he has guided businesses through commercial real estate financing, operating lines of credit, and permanent financing solutions.

Outside of work, Billy is passionate about community involvement and actively participates in the Conroe Noon Lions Club, local Chambers of Commerce, and the Montgomery ISD Education Foundation. He enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with his family, including his wife of 15 years, Lana Diediker Brannon, who was also born and raised in Conroe. Billy is a proud father to two sons-Cody, who serves in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Will, an eighth-grade student with a love for football-both of whom continue to be a great source of pride.
